The storms that bring the winds are back
To stir up strife and launch attacks
Against my peace, against my heart
Except this time I’ll do my part
To keep my heart and soul at rest
And pray to God for all the best
So that these storms may pass away
And make a way for brighter days
Not just for me but those I love:
Receive the grace from One above -
Suspend the storms in Jesus’ name
And let them not come back again
Embrace the calm after the storms
And witness how well He performs
As we endure our darkest hours
Submit to His awesome power
No matter what may come to pass
Take joy and know He’s here at last
To make an end of these great trials
And start anew our revival
The way secure – it’s time to go
Through routes that only He would know
And will reveal very shortly
So onward now to victory!
