[UPDATE (01.05.2013): Added four new photos - see below!]
At the Fordham Road station on the Concourse Line, MTA fixed all six open entrances (see links to respective posts at the end of this post); turns out MTA’s fixing more than that! (Not that I mind, of course!)
MTA employees fixed and repainted this stairwell today! This is the northernmost stair on the northbound platform.
Here’s the same stair from the mezzanine; note the new step plates and fresh paint!
That’s not all, folks – here’s another! This stair is on the southbound platform where the local and express sides “split” into separate platforms; this is the “express” side.

Finally, here’s a shot of the southbound express platform; note the freshly repainted ceiling (in a shade of white unlike those I’ve seen in similar repair jobs); MTA also repainted station columns and other parts of the ceiling.
